Who We Are
The Sacramento Sierra Valley Medical Society Alliance (SSVMSA) is a non-profit organization composed of members of the Family of Medicine committed to creating a healthier Sacramento region by improving the lives of those in need.
What We Do
The Alliance is a non-profit organization dedicated to improving the quality of health in our community through education, community health project funding, medical student and nursing scholarships, as well as give volunteer support of community projects (all while having fun & making friends). With the state and national alliances, we develop awareness, action and advocacy for quality health care legislation and actively participate in their projects.
These are some of the things we accomplished this year:
Membership in the Alliance allows you to be directly involved in our projects, activities and events; however, even if you do not have time to actively participate in our projects or can only participate occasionally. Your dues are very important.
We are looking forward to another year of promoting health in our community and having you as a member.
