Through their efforts to provide basic needs goods to low-income families, we encourage Alliance members and friends to send a gift via the Godmothers of NorCal's Amazon wish list.
The Food Literacy Center Delivered 300 holiday cooking kits to Ethel I. Baker Elementary School students. This school is located in a “food desert”. These kits were filled with fresh produce and all the ingredients the students need to cook a healthy meal at home for a family of four. It also included a printed recipe, coloring sheets, farmer’s market information and how to use their EBT benefits for fresh produce and crayons.
